The Company "Anagnostou" is one of the largest business units in the country in the field of soils, compost & substrates and certainly one of the most reliable companies in Greece.
With privately-owned facilities of 60 acres in the area of Avlona equipped with state-of-the-art machineries, and having experienced agronomists, it has managed to give credibility and new impetus to Greek products.
For over 60 years, our company has been producing, packaging and trading on the Greek market (nurseries, agronomic shops, big gardening projects) as well as on the foreign markets (Cyprus, Libya, Albania, Bulgaria and Montenegro) Greek origin and soils & compost. At the same time, it imports reliable substrates from European countries.

ISO 14001:2015 - Environmental Management System
The purpose of the Environmental Management Standard is to analyze and identify the environmental impact, to anticipate and make decisions to reduce and monitor them. The company ANAGNOSTOU has found that both quality and environmental protection are today the main lever of growth and competitiveness. For this reason it takes the appropriate measures to minimize the environmental burden by developing and implementing environmental management systems in accordance with the requirements of the standard.
ISO 50001:2018 - Energy Management System
The standard provides an effective framework for better energy use and shaping the company's commitment to continuously improving energy management. Certification is one of the best and most efficient ways to substantially reduce energy costs, either by increasing the energy efficiency of production or by actually reducing energy costs.
ISO 9001:2015 - Quality Management System
The standard specifies the requirements that the company should operate so that the end product and service can be judged satisfactory by both its customers and other interested parties. The requirements of the standard cover the entire range of the company's activities from the design and development of new products and services to after-sales service.
